You have joined SMPS Sacramento, now it's time to get involved!

Volunteering on a committee will help you get the most our of your membership. As a committee member, you will build your network, promote your firm, and develop your leadership skills while helping your Chapter provide services and information. Accommodations Committee

The Accomodations Committee coordinates logistics for programs, education and special events.

Communications and Website Committee

The Communications and Website Committee is responsible for distributing announcements and maintaining the SMPS Sacramento chapter website.

Community Outreach Committee

The Community Outreach Committee provides opportunities for networking while supporting community organizations.

Conference Liaison

The Conference Liaison coordinates SMPS Sacramento Chapter members attending the Pacific Regional Conference and the Build Business national conference.

Education Committee

The Education Commitee provide multi-level professional development opportunities for members.

Lending Library

The Lending Library maintains our chapter's resource library.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for attracting and retaining SMPS Sacramento Members. This committee is also a resource if you are having any membership issues.

Mentoring Pathways

Mentoring Pathways is a year-long program to provide mentoring opportunities for SMPS Sacramento members.

Past Presidents Council

The Past Presidents Council meets bi-annually to provide guidance to current President.

Programs Committee

The Programs Committee provides business development-focused lunch programs with client panels on current topics/trends.

Society Liaison

This position is a liaison to SMPS Headquarters.

Special Events Committee

The Special Events Committee organizes chapter special events such as happy hours and joint association events.

Striving for Excellence

"Striving for Excellence" is an annual awards program recognizing programs/education, leadership/chapter management, membership, communications, and financial health.

Student Services Committee

The Student Services Committee conduct presentations to high school and college students to build their marketing and presentation skills.
