STUDIO W ARCHITECTS

Studio W Architects is looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator with 5+ years’ experience in the A/E/C industry to work in collaboration with Studio W’s President and marketing department. Along with the management team, the person who holds this position is responsible for helping to champion Studio W’s marketing and business development strategy and implementation.

This is a full-time position (although part-time would be considered based on candidate qualifications). The individual will be located in the firm’s Sacramento office. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Position Requirements

  • Oversight of the project pursuit process.

    • SOQ/Proposal triage process, including identification of long lead items.

    • SOQ/Proposal development, including management of all deliverables and directing/delegating tasks to others as needed (coordinating with consultants; distributing tasks to President & CEO, Director of Marketing & Business Development, Marketing Manager, COO and Project Managers; delegating to Project Administrators; etc.).

    • Interview preparation, rehearsals and possible attendance.

    • Recording and implementing feedback received from client debriefs.

    • Post-Proposal Analysis (transfer of data to marketing libraries, CRM database, etc.).

  • Creating and maintaining firm templates and master files.

    • Firm information and data.

    • Staff resumes.

    • Project sheets.

    • Proposal narratives.

    • Project data.

    • Presentations.

  • Assisting with business development initiatives, including client/market research and scheduling appointments.

  • Design of collateral pieces – development of graphics and content for brochures, project postcards, technical reports, email campaigns, etc.

  • Contributing to the firm’s digital marketing program.

    • Website content management and asset creation.

    • Social media content development and engagement.

  • Assisting with business development initiatives, including client/market research and scheduling appointments.

  • Preparation of project design and personnel award submittals and associated coordination.

  • Supporting technical projects with graphic design oversight and producing deliverables.

  • Registering for, coordination of and possible attendance at conferences, industry and professional association events.

  • Coordinating event and organization sponsorships.

  • Assisting with client appreciation events and entertainment (sports season tickets, networking receptions, etc.).

  • Maintaining marketing-related information and data entry in the CRM database, Deltek Vantagepoint.

  • Maintaining the marketing network file structure.

  • Organizing and/or assisting with staff appreciation events.

  • Management of marketing supplies – ordering marketing materials, business cards, stationary, branded swag items, etc.

  • Management of office periodical subscriptions (business journals, magazines, etc.).

  • Management of photography (project photography, staff headshots, etc.).

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing and business development, preferably in the A/E/C industry.

  • College degree in marketing, communications, business management or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Expertise in marketing, communications and graphics software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and CRM database (Deltek, Cosential, Salesforce, etc.).

  • Certifications related to technical writing, graphic design, web design and social media are a plus.
