With professionals located throughout Northern California and Portland, Ore., Studio PR is seeking a public relations agency Account Associate (AA) to join our team. Our agency provides public relations and marketing communications services to professional services companies, public agencies and nonprofit organizations. Key industries include architecture, construction, engineering, technology, real estate, environmental and energy.
This isn't a job for a public relations professional who wants routine assignments and micro-management. We operate a remote workplace, and we’re looking for a team member who likes to take charge and rise to the challenge – primarily from their home.
The AA is responsible for managing all aspects of account work for their clients, as well as performing administrative assignments as needed for the benefit of clients and the agency. Essential skills include excellent writing, editing and communication skills, as well as experience working with the media. Key qualities include attention to detail, excellence with time management, and a collaborative spirit.
The AA may manage assistant account executives, account coordinators and interns, ensuring high-quality and accurate work is completed on time. The AA may support a handful of accounts with an account manager and/or manage 1-3+ accounts independently. Accounts will primarily be within their dedicated area of expertise, but also may cross other practices based on staffing needs and to expand breadth of expertise.
We're looking for a candidate who serves as the primary contact and campaign executor for clients (5-6 at any given time) and the media.
